Standard cement grout is porous: it absorbs water, dirt and soap the day it's installed, which is why it discolours and why mould keeps coming back no matter how hard it's scrubbed. Epoxy grout is different:

What's the difference between regrouting and retiling?
Regrouting replaces only the grout and seals between your existing tiles, done in hours. Retiling strips the surface back and starts again: days of work at several times the cost. If your tiles are in good condition, regrouting delivers the like-new result without the renovation.
Is epoxy grout worth it over standard grout?
For wet areas, yes. It's waterproof, stain-resistant and far more durable, which is why we use it in our shower and balcony repairs as standard.
